CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - More clouds and chilly for the rest of Thursday. Those clouds are ahead of a push of milder temperatures due in over the region Friday and Saturday.

Tracking the progress of a dynamic storm system taking shape over the Rockies. It will eject east Friday and Saturday. Producing heavy snow over portions of the northern Plains to northern Great Lakes. At this same time, the warmer side of the system will produce severe weather from the lower Ohio Valley to lower Mississippi Valley.
