Some Snow Showers or Flurries Possible Wednesday Morning

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A weak weather disturbance tracking toward and across the Mid-Atlantic region Wednesday morning, may produce a period of some light snow showers or flurries. At this time, dry air and little moisture, means little if any accumulation. Perhaps a dusting on grassy areas. By early afternoon, gradual clearing expected. Much colder to start Thursday morning with widespread 20s. Skies will turn cloudy Thursday, but we remain dry. Turning much milder Friday and Saturday, ahead of the next larger storm system, that will bring us showers at times. Saturday, will turn warm with highs in the 60s to around 70. Saturday night into Sunday morning, appears the best opportunity for rain.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, seasonable. Lows upper 20s to around 30.

Wednesday: Cloudy, AM light snow showers or flurries. Gradual clearing by early afternoon. Highs low to mid 40s. Lows 20s.

Thursday: Turning cloudy, chilly. Highs low to mid 40s. Lows upper 20s to low 30s.

Friday: Sun and clouds, milder, few showers. Highs mid 50s. Lows 40s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, warm, breezy, showers. Highs upper 60s to around 70. Lows low 40s.

Sunday: Mainly AM showers, clearing, breezy. Highs mid 50s. Lows low 30s.

Monday: Mostly sunny. Highs low to mid 50s. Lows around 30.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Highs low to mid 50s.
