ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - Albemarle County Parks and Recreation is now accepting registration for spring activities to help get folks back outside and active.

The courses range from chair yoga to Samurai swordsmanship to beekeeping.

The courses are aimed at all age levels and offer activities designed to be safe for all participants.

Social distancing and masks will be required for all classes.

“The instructors are really really good, they’ve been doing it for a long time,” Joe Clark recreation program supervisor for Albemarle County, said.

Most activities will begin in April and will either be held at the Greenwood Community Center, Mint Springs Park in Crozet or virtually.
