CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Former Blue Ridge School basketball star Aamir Simms hit the game-winning shot on a runner in the lane with 0:19 left, and the Clemson men’s basketball team won 66-65 at Miami on Saturday.
Simms scored a game-high and career-high 25 points, while making 10-of-14 shots from the field.
The Tigers’ senior grabbed seven rebounds, dished out four assists, and blocked four shots.
Clemson (8-1, 2-1 ACC) returns to action at home against NC State on Tuesday.
