CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A weeklong schedule of art programs for kids to celebrate Halloween at IX Art Park continued on Wednesday when about a dozen kids came out to make clay zombies on the proclaimed ‘Clay of the Dead.’
Joe Vena led the group and he let the kids be creative with their artwork, encouraging backstories and names.
Julie Smith and Charlotte Merrill shared their two very different zombies.
“She ended up dying and turned into this very creepy zombie who wants to get revenge,” Smith said.
Charlotte said her zombie was a “nice zombie” and “nice zombies tell jokes.”
IX Art Park is continuing its Halloween fun with ‘Mummy and Me’ art-making on Friday morning.
