AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - The Central Shenandoah Health District is offering drive-thru COVID-19 testing Wednesday morning, followed by a free flu vaccine clinic in Verona.
No registration or appointment is necessary for either event, but people are asked to wear masks.
COVID-19 testing is available at the Augusta County Government Center in Verona from 9a.m. to 12 p.m. The testing is for individuals who either have COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone else who contracted the virus.
Later in the afternoon, the health department will offer free drive-thru flu shots. That will run from 3-7 p.m. at the government center.
Shots are for those ages three and up, and again, no appointments are needed.
