LOUISA, Va. (WVIR) - Virginia State Police say the man who led a Louisa sheriff’s deputy on a chase into Orange Monday night stopped four times to fire shots at the officer.

Aubrey Robertson, Jr. of Louisa faces attempted capital murder of a law enforcement officer and child endangerment charges, among others.

He had a two-year-old boy in his car at the time.

Officers arrested him after chasing him down on foot after he crashed his vehicle.
