CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Police say a missing Charlottesville woman has been safely located.
The Charlottesville Police Department announced Monday, August 10, that 29-year-old Amy Elizabeth Hillman has been found.
Hillman was reported missing Wednesday, August 5. She was last seen walking in the 1200 block of Cherry Avenue around 12 p.m. Tuesday, August 4.
“As of this morning on August 10th, we were able to safely locate her and we are thankful that we had a positive resolution to this case,” Charlottesville Police Department Public Information Officer Tyler Hawn said.
Hawn was not able to provide how or where Hillman was located, but noted that the Charlottesville Police Department was able to get in contact with her, and that she is safe.
