HANOVER, Va. (WWBT) - Hanover Fire was able to extinguish flames on top of a cell phone tower Thursday night.

Crews were called to the 9200 block of New Ashcake Road around 11:15 p.m.

When they arrived, they saw a cell tower completely covered in flames.

The fire was safely put out and officials believe that it was an accidental fire as the result of electrical/mechanical issues.
