CHARLOTTESVILLE, V.A. (WVIR) - Tonight will be the last night in the 20s for a while. Temperatures turn much milder as we head into the upcoming week. High temperatures each day will climb a little bit more, starting in the lower 50s and eventually reach near 60 by Christmas Eve. While that will be the warmest day, temperatures still look to remain above average for the remainder of the month.
At the same time, largely dry conditions will continue across the region. A system to our south will bring heavy and steady rain across much of the Southeast. This will bring nothing but a few additional clouds to our area over the next couple of days. Overall, it looks like sunshine will win out most days through next Saturday.
