CHARLOTTESVILLE, V.A. (WVIR) - Western Albemarle held a signing celebration Wednesday for Bailey Wood and Lilly Argenbright.

Wood signed her national letter of intent to play soccer at the College of Charleston.

Argenbright signed with North Carolina in Chapel Hill for rowing.

Argenbright says she'll be a pre-med major at UNC.

Wood has been a goalie for the 3-time defending state champion Warriors.

"I've wanted to play since I was four years old in college at least," says Wood. "This is huge because I've been working towards this for a really long time. The recruiting process is pretty stressful so to be able to sign and know that I'm going to college soon is a big relief."

"I knew I wanted to continue my athletic career, but I didn’t think about, I wanted to row in college,' says Argenbright. “It was like, wow, I’m good at this, I really like it a lot and I’d like to do it in college.”
