The case involving the shooting death of a Greene County teen could be in the hands of the commonwealth's attorney.
A game warden killed 16-year-old Allen Cochran on January 24. The attorney for the Commonwealth says state police are waiting for a few reports before finishing their investigation. Then it will be up to him to decide if anyone will be charged.
Authorities say the warden and deputies pulled Cochran over after they were told he had a missing teenager with him. Officials say Cochran then stepped on the gas, hitting the warden. The warden fired, killing Cochran.
