(Charlottesville, VA) – The Piedmont Virginia Community College Chorus will perform its annual holiday concert on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m., in the Main Stage Theatre in the V. Earl Dickinson Building, located on PVCC’s Main Campus in Charlottesville.

The chorus will continue its tradition of blending classical and modern choral pieces with familiar holiday favorites for a diverse program. Highlights will include works by modern composers John Rutter, Randall Thompson and Rollo Dilworth, a selection of pieces chosen for their themes of wisdom, hope and peace and a set of songs from Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas.”

Directed by Instructor of Choral Music Horace Scruggs, the PVCC Chorus is a one-credit class open to students and community members without audition. New members are always welcome.

The concert is free and open to the public. The V. Earl Dickinson Building is located at the south end of College Drive. Ample free parking is located in front of the building.
