Two Dead in Louisa County Car CrashPosted: Updated:

LOUISA CO., Va. - On December 4, 2018 (Tuesday), at approximately 5:10 p.m., the Virginia State Police responded to a two vehicle crash at Route 33, .2 miles east of Route 522.
The Trooper's preliminary investigation reveals that a 2013 Toyota Camry, driven by, Aloysius E. Burt, 45, of Mineral, Va., was traveling westbound on Route 33 when he crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Nissan Altima head on.
Burt was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Altima, identified as, Eleanor L. Green, 69, of Chesterfield, Va., was wearing her seat belt and was transported to the hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.
Unfortunately, Burt and Green were pronounced deceased at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation.
