CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) -

It's the season of giving, and there's a way you can give two gifts in one.

Hand-woven Guatemalan scarves, shirts, and other handmade items are on sale at Building Goodness Foundation.

Proceeds will go toward building a larger production facility for the women and children weaving the products in rural Guatemala.

“So really, by giving gifts that are fairly traded, you're giving two gifts,” Eliza Strode, the owner of A Thread of Hope Guatemalan, Fair Trade, said. “You're giving a gift to the women who did the work in Guatemala - Mayan women - and, of course, the gift recipient.”

All of the items will be on sale at Building Goodness Foundation until Friday, December 7.

People can stop by the foundation between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
