On December 1, 2018 (Saturday) at approximately 9:07 a.m. the Virginia State Police responded to a two vehicle crash in the town of Louisa at Route 208 and Elm Avenue.
The trooper's preliminary investigation reveals that a Louisa town police officer was stopped in his marked 2010 Ford Crown Vic at Route 208, Elm Avenue.
A 2012 Cadillac SUV driven by Trevor Fisher, 19, of Louisa, Va. was traveling westbound on Route 208, attempting to make a right turn onto Elm Avenue, and struck the Crown Vic in the front.
The officer was transported for treatment of minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Fisher was charged with reckless driving.
The crash remains under investigation.
