Harrisonburg Police Request Help Identifying Credit Card Fraud Suspect

Harrisonburg Police Department Media Release:

The Harrisonburg Police Department (HPD) is currently investigating a credit card fraud where the victim’s information was compromised and then used at an ATM in Harrisonburg by an unknown male. This case is similar to other recent cloned card cases that are also being investigated, but it is not believed to be related.

On October 26, the victim reported that her card was used to withdraw cash from an ATM. The suspect is described as of Hispanic or Middle Eastern descent with a thin goatee in his late 30’s to early 40’s.
