Charlottesville Area Alliance Releases Age-Friendly Community SurveyPosted: Updated:
Albemarle County News Release:
In 2017, Albemarle County and the city of Charlottesville joined the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities, by demonstrating our shared commitment to actively work toward making our community a great place for people of all ages.
Part of that commitment includes an effort to understand our strengths and weaknesses in accessibility, services, and programs, and then creating a plan to improve.
This work is being led by the Charlottesville Area Alliance (CAA), which serves Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Orange counties, and the city of Charlottesville.
The CAA invites area community members to respond the following survey questions. While anyone is welcome to participate, the questions are targeted towards individuals aged 50 and older. The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete.
