Two dueling federal lawsuits filed between Christopher Cantwell and two counterprotestors have been dismissed.

Court documents filed Thursday, November 15, show attorneys representing Emily Gorcenski, Kristopher Goad, and Cantwell mutually agree to dismiss the case and not refile.

Cantwell originally filed a nearly $1 million lawsuit, accusing Gorcenski and Goad of "malicious prosecution" stemming from the white nationalist, torch-lit rally at the University of Virginia on August 11, 2017.

Goad and Gorcenski later filed a countersuit against Cantwell, alleging harassment from him in person and online.
