11/09/2018 Release from the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA:

The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA will be participating in PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend, November 9-11, and this Saturday, November 10 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Hollymead Shopping Center we will have adoptable dogs onsite.

PetSmart Charities is encouraging people who adopt this weekend to share their story on social media and use the hashtag #PicMe. All pets from the CASPCA will have received services normally costing hundreds of dollars, including spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations and a microchip with lifetime registration. They also come with a free medical exam from participating vets, and a lifetime of priceless companionship and fun. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to visit with some of our furry friends!

“The CASPCA is proud to be an adoption partner of PetSmart Charities and excited to participate in their National Adoption Weekend. We hope that many people in our community will have a reason to use the #PicMe on social media after choosing to adopt this weekend!” says Angie Gunter, executive director of the CASPCA.
