The Boys and Girls Club of Central Virginia is on the receiving end of 200 back-to-school outfits.

The club hosted a party on Cherry Avenue on Monday, September 17, to celebrate the donation from Belk's Project Hometown.

The donation is part of a promotion with King of Pops to have Belk customers return the most Popsicle sticks in 10 cities.

The Albemarle Belk store brought back the most.

"King of Pops Popsicles and Belk have teamed together to make this happen for kids,” James Pierce, the executive chief officer of the club chapter, said. “We're so thankful that our partners at Belk have chosen to give us all these new clothes for our kids at the start of the school year."

Across all participating cities, Belk says it has donated 715 back-to-school outfits to various chapters of Boys and Girls Clubs.
