Man Stabbed Multiple Times in Harrisonburg, 1 of 2 Suspects Turns Himself inPosted: Updated:

Harrisonburg, Va. – On September 15, 2018 officers with the Harrisonburg Police Department responded to the 200 block of Community Street for a stabbing that had just occurred. The approximate time of the incident was 11:39 a.m.
The victim, a 29 year old male from Harrisonburg was immediately treated by responding officers along with the Harrisonburg Fire Department and Harrisonburg Rescue Squad. He has since been airlifted to Winchester Medical Center and is now in stable, but critical condition.
Preliminary investigation has shown that two suspects were in an altercation with the male when one of the suspects, identified as Alonzo De Angelo Reddick, 34, of Harrisonburg, stabbed the victim several times. Both suspects then fled the scene.
Reddick later turned himself in and was charged with one count of aggravated malicious wounding. He is being held at the Rockingham County Regional Jail without bond.
HPD’s Major Crimes Unit was called in and continues to investigate the incident.
