CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) -

A proposed mixed-use development in Charlottesville has the green light from the city’s planning commission.

Tarleton Oak LLC agreed to add more trees and make some other changes outside.

Phase one of the plan includes a five-story office building and parking deck at the corner of East High and Ninth Streets, where the Tarleton Oak Service Station and another building stand now.

The owner of the station said he has not talked to the property owner yet, but hopes to open a new location.
