Enrollment is now officially open for Charlottesville Parks and Recreation’s fall classes and programs.

On Monday, August 6, the city opened up registration for its daily activities held at Carver Recreation Center.

The facility offers classes for all different age groups, from toddlers to seniors.

Parks and Recreation offer sports like tennis, kickball, and soccer, as well as some creative programs like flower arranging.

“Fall is a great time to start,” says Mindy Dodge, the program manager. “Kids are getting back into a rotation, or a schedule, great time for them to also start other programs."

Dodge warns that popular classes fill up fast.

Parks and Recreation will be accepting applications from now until the classes start, or until they reach capacity.
