As the one-year anniversary of August 12 draws closer Firefly Restaurant & Arcade is doing its part to support the foundation created to honor the woman killed in that day’s car attack.

The restaurant is showcasing work from an artist living in the Charlottesville area, and all of the art displayed is up for sale.

Eight percent of all sales - including food, drinks, and any artwork - will be donated to the Heather Heyer Foundation.

The artist, Chris Kelly, says this display has created a platform for his artwork, while also being a positive way to give back to the community.

“It was something that impacted a lot of people, me, personally, I happened to go down with my wife that day to show our support and we happened to walk past the street 15 minutes before that happened,” says Kelly.

Kelly's art will be on display and available for purchase until the end of September.
