VERONA, Va. (WVIR) -

Members of United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America rallied in front of an Augusta County business on Thursday, July 12, to protest poor working conditions.

According to a release. the group says Daikin's Verona management has been violating employee rights by unjustly firing union members or forcing them to work mandatory overtime.

Employees say they have been working with no air conditioning, even though their company builds air conditioning units.

The union also delivered a petition to the company's vice president last week.
