Harrisonburg Police Investigate Call of Shots Fired

Harrisonburg, Va. – The Harrisonburg Police Department (HPD) is investigating a shots fired incident that occurred this afternoon around 3:00 PM.

HPD received a call that a weapon was discharged in the area surrounding E. Market Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way. No one was injured and HPD believes that the individuals involved were traveling on foot. HPD’s Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate.
