Former Albemarle School Counselor Charged with 4 Counts of Indecent Liberties
ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) -
A former Albemarle County Public Schools psychologist and counselor has been charged with four counts of indecent liberties with children under 15 years old.
Right now, Richard Sidebottom is free on bond.
Police received a report of multiple incidences of indecent exposure back in April.
In June, a grand jury indicted him on four offenses that allegedly happened between August 2016 and January 2018.
ACPS says Sidebottom retired from the school system in 2011 after working there since 1978.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - On April 27, 2018, the Charlottesville Police Department received a report which alleged multiple incidences of indecent exposure by Richard Sidebottom of Charlottesville, VA.
As a result of the subsequent investigation four indictments for taking indecent liberties with children were obtained by grand jury against Sidebottom. He was arrested on June 25, 2018, and has since been released on bond from the Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail.
