FLUVANNA COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) -

The Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office is hoping someone can shed light on a disappearance case that is now four years old.

The sheriff's office says Janet Renee Field's husband Lewis last saw her at their Scottsville home July 2, 2014. Lewis said Janet drove away after an argument.

Deputies found Field’s burgundy Subaru Forester two days later in the Park & Ride lot at Zion Crossroads. Her purse, cell phone, and keys were still inside the car.

However Field’s driver’s license and any cash or credit cards she may have been carrying were gone.

An investigator has previously stated that the sheriff’s office suspect foul play was involved in Field’s disappearance. Additionally, they did not find any evidence of those missing credit cards being used.

According to authorities, Field goes by "Renee" and has family in Lexington. She last spoke to those family members on June 30, 2014. Field is also known to frequent plant/gardening stores as well as health food stores and holistic healing centers.
