A 10-year-old boy's piano playing is taking the internet by storm, thanks to his performance of John Lennon's "Imagine" at a talent show.
"As many times as I heard him play, and I've heard this song being played by him, it still brings a tear to my eye. Very proud of him, but he is just Adam," said Mary Kornowski, the grandmother of the boy, Adam Kornowski.
Adam is the viral sensation in the video.
"I think he expresses himself through what those words are. Be it the conflict, happy or whatever. And I think you can get that feeling when you listen to him," Mary Kornowski said.
Music is in the family's blood.
Adam's dad graduated from Wausau West High School in 1994 and has been involved with music since then.
He now teaches his children Adam, Ethan, Natalie, and Olivia his craft.
"Together they chare and they love to sort of just jam in the music room," said Mary Kornowski.
The Facebook post that got Adam all of this attention now has more than 11 million views, and because of that, his family has received attention from national media outlets and TV shows like "America's Got Talent."
With so much focus on Adam, Mary wants to make sure the fame doesn't take away from his childhood.
"We have reservations about that because we, even for me being the grandma, we really don't want to share as much with just everybody because it's so special," said Mary.
All the attention hasn't overwhelmed Adam, though, who is still focused on typical kid things like baseball and summer vacation.
