Three new people are joining the Albemarle High School Hall of Fame on Friday, May 4.

Dr. Pam Moran, who’s been with the school system since 2006, is being inducted for her work as superintendent.

National Football League kicker Nick Novak is also joining after playing for the Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers. Leroy Smith also joined the hall of fame for dedicating 33 years of teaching at the high school.

"It's a great night, and a good night to recognize people from our school who have done well in our community and have served other communities around the country,” says Charles Crenshaw of the Albemarle High School Alumni Association.

The school's alumni association began in 2008, and now has more than 4,000 members.
