Lehigh woman dies after being struck by truck

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -

A 28-year-old Lehigh Acres woman died Friday evening after she was struck by a truck.

Troopers said Ashley Marie Davidson was walking in the path of oncoming traffic on Joel Boulevard when a pickup struck her.

Davidson died at the scene.

The crash happened at 7 p.m. near E. 23rd Street.
