Culpeper Police Investigate Car Crash Involving PedestrianPosted: Updated:

On January 12, 2018 at approximately 8:13 pm, the Culpeper Police Department responded to the 600-block of Sperryville Pike for a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. Upon arrival at the crash scene Officers found a single vehicle had struck a pedestrian. Officers immediately called for EMS.
The 45-year old male victim was transported to UVA-Novant Culpeper Medical Center and was later transported to UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, with life threatening injuries.
The Culpeper Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team has been called to the crash scene and will be handling the investigation.
