The holidays are about giving, and a restaurant staff in Arizona was recently on the receiving end of a very substantial gift.
A generous customer ordered bacon and eggs from a diner that came to a total of 17 dollars. A standard 20 percent tip on that amount would come to $3.40.
He left more than 588 times the standard 20 percent tip.
When the customer left, the receipt left behind had a tip of $2,000 and a note that asked that the money be split among the entire diner staff made up of nine employees.
Christmas certainly came early for that lucky staff!
