A Tweet from the founder of Vine sent on Wednesday may suggest the video app is making a comeback.
Dom Hofmann, Vine's founder, sent a tweet with what appears to be a logo, which was enough for the loyalist of Vine users to regain faith that a comeback is not far away.
Twitter bought Vine in 2012 for $30 million. However, with the growth of livestreaming video sharing apps, Vine gradually lost its novelty and was shut down in Oct. 2016.
Since the app's untimely death, fans have longed mourned its passing and yearned for its revival.
Not much is known about the long sought after comeback, but if Hofmann's Tweet is any indication, it's definitely happening.
