The UVa women's basketball team was outscored 43-21 in the second half and lost 69-60 to Northwestern in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Thursday.
Virginia led by 13 at halftime and led by 18 with 8:02 to go in the third quarter.
Lauren Moses and Dominique Toussaint each had 14 points for Virginia in the loss. It's Virginia's fourth straight loss in the ACC/Big Ten challenge.
Virginia shot just 36 percent from the field. UVa falls to 5-2 on the season.
Nia Coffey had a game-high 29 points for Northwestern.
