The LOCKN' Music Festival in Nelson County presented checks worth about $30,000 to various non-profits.
More than a dozen nonprofits took part in the festival's "participation row" and will split more than $19,000. That works out to a little more than $1,000 for group like the Thomas Jefferson Center, Wild Virginia and the Nelson County Food Pantry.
LOCKN' organizers also presented a check of more than $11,000 to the John C. Holland III Memorial Scholarship at Nelson County High School.
