CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) -

People can drink beer for a cause in downtown Charlottesville this week and help out families of children receiving medical care at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

From now until November 27 and the entire month of January, Draft Taproom is donating all tip money to Red Shoe Cville. That's the fundraising arm for the Ronald McDonald House, which gives families of sick children a place to stay.

“We live in a time where people are too caught up in negativity and we decided that individuals doing something small could make a big difference," said Bob Sanders, chief beer officer.

Red Shoe members and supporters can also receive a 15 percent discount on all food ordered at Draft Taproom this week. All you have to do is just say you want to support Red Shoe.
