Authorities believe they were attempting to steal from a private garage along Lake Monticello Road Friday, Nov. 18, when the owner and a friend came in and gunfire erupted.

The Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office is still trying to locate one more suspect who may have fled in a blue or bluish-gray Lexus SUV with Virginia tag VRU 1372.

Abbitt and Jackson are expected back in court in December to deal with attorney arrangements and bond, respectively. Court records show their preliminary hearings are scheduled for February 17.

Givens is scheduled to have a hearing on February 7.
