A program to help black males achieve more in life is getting off the ground.
Organizers behind My Brother's Keeper held an event at Carver Recreation Center in Charlottesville Tuesday night.
The group offers training and emotional support for those who attend. The training covers areas including network engineering and plumbing.
The program is put on through the Charlottesville Alliance for Black Male Achievement.
The My Brother’s Keeper event happens on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
