LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) -

A man charged with abducting a Louisa County school bus driver will stay behind bars.

A judge denied 43-year-old Russell Jeffries appeal for bond Monday in circuit court.

Back in September, Jeffries was accused of abducting Louisa County bus driver and girlfriend Lisa Crane.

In court Monday, she testified that Jeffries jumped onto the hood of the bus and kicked at the window, before she got off the bus and willingly went with him.

She said another man who was on the bus ran out of the back exit.
