People in Albemarle County are helping to design a network of sidewalks to help them safely get around.
Monday, county planners held a public hearing on projects that would add sidewalks to Rio Road, Avon Street extended, and Route 250 in Crozet.
People got a chance to give their input on the design of these proposed sidewalks.
“There are a lot of mobility issues with the traffic on Rio Road and no official way to get across, so my interest here is in seeing that the mobility can actually happen,” Anton Largiader, Rio Road property owner, said.
Construction on all the projects is scheduled for 2018. If you couldn't attend Monday’s meeting, you can still submit feedback via mail or email.
