STAB Lacrosse Star Connor Shellenberger Decommits from Johns Hopkins
St. Anne's Belfield lacrosse standout Connor Shellenberger has decommitted from Johns Hopkins University.
Shellenberger says on twitter, "I would like to thank Johns Hopkins University for giving me an unbelievable opportunity to play lacrosse and further my education there. After much consideration I have decided to decommit and explore other options."
Just two weeks ago Shellenberger was named the top recruit in the nation by Inside Lacrosse magazine for the class of 2019.
Shellenberger had 21 goals and 18 assists last year as a freshman at STAB. He also had 32 ground balls.
Shellenberger was recognized by Inside Lacrosse as more offensively polished than any other player in his 2019 class right now.
In addition for playing for St. Anne's Belfield, Shellenberger was also selected as a member of the Under Armour DC Underclass team and was an all-star selection at this summer's Maverick Showtime Showcase.
