More than 2,200 runners hit the streets bright and early Saturday morning for the 41st annual Charlottesville Ten Miler.
The race began at the John Paul Jones Arena and took runners on a course through the University of Virginia around downtown and back.
The Ten Miler is the oldest race in the city.
This year's proceeds benefit the Sexual Assault Resource Agency.
