A program that helps Charlottesville schools teach students about healthy habits is getting some extra funding in January.

The Sticks Kebob Shop restaurants on Pantops and Preston Avenue are doing a fundraiser to benefit the City Schoolyard Garden Program.

If you eat at Sticks any Saturday in January, 10 percent of the profits from your meal will go to the nonprofit which works with students to maintain gardens at Charlottesville Elementary School and Buford Middle School.
