A festival over 30 years old is back in Albemarle County this weekend. Crozet's 35th Arts and Crafts Festival kicks off Saturday morning at Claudius Crozet Park.

This year's festival will feature over 120 artists. New for this year, Virginia wine and beer will be available by the glass.

The director expects 5,000 to 6,000 people to attend. "It was a very popular festival back in the 70s and 80s and now it seems to be a tradition that people around Albemarle County and Crozet love,” said Festival Director Amanda Polson.

There will also be live music throughout the weekend, and a kid's area with face painting and activities.

The festival runs Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Adult admission is $6, kids under 12 get in for free. The proceeds help maintain the park.
