The case of a Charlottesville woman accused of attacking the wife of Delegate David Toscano will move forward. Monday a grand jury indicted 35-year-old Claire Ogilvie on three felony charges of entering a house armed, abduction and malicious wounding.
Police say she attacked Delegate Toscano's wife, Nancy Tramontin, in their Charlottesville home on February 24.
In a statement, the Toscano family said they met Ogilvie during a "Semester at Sea" program in 2010, but cut ties in 2012 after she took an "unsettling interest" in the family.
Ogilvie waived her right to a preliminary hearing last month. She has been behind bars since late February, and underwent an ordered mental evaluation.
Ogilvie will be arranged on the charges in Charlottesville Circuit Court on September 17.
