Bowen Sargent Continues to Lead at Jefferson Cup

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WVIR) -

Bowen Sargent holds a one stroke lead over Kevin Clarke heading into the final round of the 13th annual Jefferson Cup Golf Tournament at Birdwood Golf Course.

The UVa golf coach posted a two-over par 74 Saturday, after firing a 66 on Friday.

Clarke also shot a 74 to remain one shot back.

Alex Simmons is two shots off the pace in third, and Vincent Nadeau is 4th.

Chris Kapsak has the low round of the day with a 68, and is tied for fifth place with Battle Trophy champ Phil Mahone.

The leader's will tee off at 12:40 on Sunday afternoon.
