An Albemarle County man accused of shooting his ex-wife's boyfriend has been indicted.

A grand jury indicted Robert Jarvis Jr. on four felony counts Monday morning, including two counts of malicious wounding, use of firearm in commission of a felony and possession of firearm by a felon.

Police say Jarvis shot his ex-wife's boyfriend multiple times after an argument on May 6 along Durrett Ridge Road. Police arrested Jarvis the next day.

Jarvis will be back in front of a judge on September 25.
