Weyers Cave Man Charged in Carter Bank & Trust Robbery

On 07/29/14, The Carter Bank and Trust, located in Weyers Cave, VA, was robbed.

The investigation has been ongoing. An investigative lead was developed and a suspect was identified. After further investigation, it was determined that Aaron B. Rummel, a 31 year old male from Weyers Cave, VA, was responsible for the robbery.

Mr. Rummel was taken into custody, on today's date, without incident. He has been charged with armed robbery and is currently being held at Middle River Regional Jail, without bond. This investigation is ongoing.
